Get to Know Me
My name is Areli L. Bowden, M.S. CCC-SLP. I am an ASHA (American Speech-Language and Hearing Association) certified bilingual speech-language pathologist (SLP). I am passionate about helping children and their families achieve functional communication and feeding skills to help improve their daily lives.
All About My Education
I achieved my Bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders, followed by my Master of Science in Speech-language Pathology through Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.
I then completed my clinical fellow internship at a private pediatric clinic in Fayetteville, NC, in which I received my Certification of Clinical Competence through ASHA.
I am currently enrolled at NYC College of Medicine in pursuit of the Advanced Certification in Pediatric Dysphagia. Upon completion, I will acquire advanced skills in identifying and treating pediatric feeding disorders.
I have also completed a 12-week, Feed The Peds, course to become a skilled pediatric feeding therapist.
